That story almost, but not quite beats the one of your leaving your camera at Valley View the evening of the full moon shoot during the Spring 2009 Moonbow/Spring Wildflowers trip. I still cringe when I remember that evening…

No kidding.
BTW, I reprised that faux pas last fall in the Eastern Sierra, when I left my camera beside a lake near Tioga Pass. It was there when I returned about 30 minutes later, so the only damage was to my pride. I just don’t seem to be able to keep track of my gear and workshop participants at the same time. Or maybe it was the gum (which I rarely chew) somebody had given me just before I drove off without my camera. True story.
